[928uk] S4 Suspension refresh?

Thanks Smiffy and everyone else for all the tips and advice on this.

Good to hear that changing the wheels after the suspension work should not affect the alignment and thanks for the pointers re setting the ride height.

Re bushes I plan on checking them all but won't be changing any that aren't obviously perished, I was really referring to having to replace all the rubber parts directly involved in the shock and spring assemblies as I assume that these will all be quite worn? I appreciate that the bushes, control arms etc are all part of a connected system and in an ideal world I'd change them all but in an effort to keep costs down as much as possible it will definitely be more of a refresh rather than a restoration.

I often fantasise about sinking tens of thousands into a full restoration of the car but in practice focus on keeping it basically sound and presentable and driving it most months. Living in the North East of Scotland far away from any geniune 928/Porsche specialists can also be a bit of an issue….

Thanks Again
Jimmy
