Hi Both,

I'm confused (not difficult)

I bought the battery you suggested, but it is considerably shorter (21/2 to  3 inches)
 than the one I've taken out.

The one that’s come out is 13 1/2 inches (34.5cm long)
Paul Anderson put it in and it fits the hole it’s Lion, possibly a type 17 looking at it?

Hi Sarah,

As Paul says, type 096 describes the shape and size of battery you need. The Bosch S4008 096 and Bosch S5008 096 batteries are favoured by many 928 owners.
