Hi Marek , i have just replaced the two nearside driveshaft boots/ gaiters,
bought the same kit as phil has shared a link , inner and outer gaiters are
the same , metal plate is only used on inner between driveshaft and gearbox
output flange

I could replace driveshaft without dismantling suspension, just enough room
to wriggle the driveshaft out above. through exhaust
Dont forget you will need to undo the hub nuts , they should be tight, 300
lbft from memory, I used a 3/4 inch breaker bar 4 ft long with wife sat in
car brakes on - before i lifted car
Inner driveshaft has 6 cap screws , only 3 can be accessed at one time,
then need to turn the driveshaft 180 degrees to get the remainder
, there should be a circlip around end of driveshaft at inner joint - can
be seen once metal plate referred above is removed - suggest dont just
clout the driveshaft with a large hammer as some youtube videos
shown much easier and safer to remove circlip first
if you dont have the special pliers to tighten the metal clamps shown on
phils link i guess tie wraps could do, but actually the metal clamps can be
tightened with careful usd of side cut pliers, or small chisel

if you dont want to do all this there are some driveshaft boots that can
allegedly be fitted insitu, they are split and you join with a supplied
adhesive
however took me about 1 hous to do one driveshaft, two gaiters - but i have
done this a few times, had one of my 928's 27 years

hope that helps
