Just to expand a little on the “no rules” issue before anyone corrects me again :-) 
I am genuinely being light hearted here….
When we set up 928uk we definitely did not want to be a club so had no constitution or hierarchy. Hence no rules but that wasn’t really a mantra. 
The “no rules” mantra was developed by Jonathan for 928GB when Simon Hammett was booted off 928uk by Andy Elvers around 2000. So I have to concede we had one rule, don’t totally and utterly piss off the person hosting the list!
Simon H is a lovely chap in person but the things he would say on the list would really piss people off. We had some great 928 adventures together around North Yorkshire. I even towed him home one time to Preston, me in my GT and Simon in his S. I had to make fuel stop on the motorway due to my high consumption.
In 2007 I was on my way back from Silverstone after completing a track day, hot summers afternoon and three lanes of dense slow traffic on the motorway. In my rear view mirror I could see a VW Golf weaving in out of traffic, like a maniac but making progress jumping lanes. As the Golf was getting close to me I was getting more and more annoyed. Of course when the Golf pulled up on my inside I was furious but then saw it was Simon with his window down driving with bare torso. It made me laugh in the end. Simon is something of a character.
