[928uk] Cast wheel finishing options

I have now made up a set of GTS size, (and offsets), cup 2, wheels. They 
are currently white, rears are replicas, fronts are Porsche.

My intention is to get rid of the whiteness. I think the simple/cheap 
approach would be to paint them silver with rattle cans.

But I also have some bare polished wheels, slots and CS (i.e. all forged 
ones).

Has anyone had any of the cast variants polished?

I am also concerned that the two different makes might end up looking 
slightly different, but I will be able to see that once I start 
stripping the paint.
(The Porsche one have the composition marked on them "GK-AlSi7Mg0.4wa", 
the replicas don't.)
