[928uk] Locking wheel nuts

Hi Paul,
I'd suggest you tighten one up with a torque wrench until it spins to find out when it fails and to make sure they're not made of 'cheese' alloy! But the trouble is that would mean destroying one, and you've only got the exact 20 you need ☹
Best regards,

Subject: Re: [928uk] Locking wheel nuts
I think the issue is that it's relatively easy to replace the standard ally
wheel nuts before they disintegrate, but the looking nuts are rarely sold
used
I used to pay $1 each for very good used nuts from 928Intl, more recently
I've paid a bit more from eBay, perhaps £2 each
However I've had to retire the locking wheel nuts as they have started
crumbling badly
I've also bought a set of 20 brand new ally nuts, for just €40, but they're
blue not black!
