Hi Steve

You can run with it ‘deleted’ whilst you find a good used one Steve.
Disconnect the electrical connector  on the valve and block the valve /
return line (you’ll need to be creative here). You’ll have sluggish hot
starts but better that than it messing with your control pressures all the
time.
