[928uk] battery box lid hinges

Couldn't the hinges be riveted into position? Or must they be welded?

thanks Gents, i managed to drill out the spot welds on the hinges from this
red S4, i just did not know if they were prone for it.
so have a good lid with good hinges in guards red if anybody wants it
before i stick it on ebay, but will need welding into position.
