[928uk] Wiper stalk gone a bit wobbly

Hi All

I've found my wiper stalk has gone a bit wobbly and wont properly return to
its home position, Is there any sort of fix for this ? There appears to be a
few brass rivets holding it all together, will I get in to a world of pain
if I drill these out to see how it all works.. Or has anyone got a
replacement indicator assembly ?
